2020 Research trip to London, England

We are excited to announce that we will be offering a new research trip to England in 2020. We will spend a week of research with the Society of Genealogists in London, and a one-day visit at The National Archives in Kew. The Society of Genealogists describes itself as Britain’s premier family history society. They have records for all parts of the British Isles, including England, Scotland and Ireland. This will be a great opportunity for members who are doing research in the British Isles.

Travel dates are currently set for May 12-26, 2020 and may change slightly before reservations are accepted. Full costs for the trip are not yet final, but will be posted as soon as they are available. All travelers will be required to have travel insurance and must be a SOCCGS member to participate in the trip. A non-refundable deposit will be required to make a reservation. Spouses and companions are welcome to join us on our trip.

Additional details will be available soon. A general information meeting will be scheduled where you can get all your questions answered, including information about making reservations for the trip. If you have a specific question about the trip, please contact David Flint. Watch this space for more news coming soon.
